Its a good day...........
You know I have talked a lot about life. And it seems like sometimes I feel like I'm repeating myself. But what can I say.... Its life.
The hardest thing about being an adult in this life is the fact that you have responsibilities. You have responsibilities to your kids, to your job, to your co-workers, your loved one, and your friends. But then there are the other responsibilities that we all dread. That is to the bill collectors, the tax man, and all the other people that want a chunk of your hard earned money that you have worked your ass off for. But you know to be able to eat, to have the amenities that you have or the conveniences that you enjoy you have to pay them. You scrape by every payday trying to figure out how to make ends meet how to be able to pay for presents for the kids. You go with out getting food for weeks or months on end to ensure that you have power to take care of your kids. You do what you have to because in that stage of your life you are in an animal instinct of fight for your life. You are willing to pay the consequences to others for not giving them money to ensure that your kids are taken care of. Then one day something happens and you are able to get the things that you have been putting off for a long time. Things that were needed, because you needed them for your kids. You get lots of food knowing that the food you are buying has to last a long time cuz' you don't know when it is that you are going to be able to buy that much again. So you stock up, you freeze a lot, You splurge and buy a vacuum sealer to ensure that the food that you have just spent a lot of money on doesn't go to waste. But before you do all that you ensure that all your bills are paid to maintain life. But then you think.... you know I need a new coffee maker.......... Can I really afford it.... Yes I can. I need a new one! So you start the balancing in your head. What will you go without for a while if you get it. Then just like that you have spent a lot of money and you are right back to where you started. Broke as a joke with nothing but a fridge and freezer full of food and a new coffee maker to show for it.
Man being an adult sucks!!
